REFUNDS & CANCELLATION
Of course, it goes without saying that I hope you will fall in love with your purchase from Well Urned Rest! Sadly, though, however carefully I try to describe things, occasionally what you see in a picture might not meet your expectations.
All my work is handmade, unique and each and every urn or gift item will be different. I hope you will consider any slight differences between pictures and your received item as part of the charm of a handmade item rather than a detraction.
If you want to return anything, please contact me immediately to tell me you want to return it. Please email me at nancyshafee@hotmail.com, charlescottagestudio@gmail.com or via the contact page. If you are returning it because you consider it is faulty, please also tell me the problem. With felt, however, areas that are softer – or thinner – than other areas, are inevitable. They are not faults, just quirks of working with wool in this way!
Items for return should be sent back in the original packaging, or if you ripped your parcel open in anticipation, put the item, in my packaging, into another bag or protective box for return so it is secure. Please be sure to use the original padding to avoid damage.
Please make sure you have had it weighed and add the correct postage and return it WITHIN SEVEN DAYS. It is ESSENTIAL you get proof of postage, or register the package as I cannot accept responsibility for anything lost in the post.
I will refund the purchase price of the item if it arrives in the same condition it left here, clean and suitable for publicity if not faulty. I am sorry, but I cannot refund the postage costs, either for the original dispatch or for the return of the item.
When you return an item, please let me know if you want a refund or a replacement. I cannot refund your purchase costs if your item was bespoke, using your choice of colours, fabrics or embellishments, neither can any personal embellishments be detached and returned.
Order cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order before it is dispatched and I will refund your money in full. If your order has already been dispatched, you must return it in its original state within seven working days from the day you receive it. You will receive a refund on the item but not the postage costs.
In the case of custom orders, please think carefully about cancelling. I will cancel your order and refund your money if the product hasn't been made. However, if it has already been started and includes any custom elements in terms of colour combinations, or your own buttons, lace, beads, etc the order cannot be cancelled and individual elements cannot be taken off and returned.
