Elements

These biodegradable urns are handmade in felt, incorporating merino wool and other natural fibres and with natural wood or silk ribbon closures. All are made to order - each is unique and there will be slight variations from the pictures.

There are four designs in the Elements range which will be equally suitable in the home or for natural burial.    These designs are larger than the Seasons urns, and between 28 and 46 cms high and hold just over 3-4litres (200-220cu ins), suitable for most adults.  Note: measurements are approximate due to the nature of handmade felt. We would advise discussing the size of the urn required with your funeral director.

Each urn is sent with a small gift and a biodegradable bag to contain the ashes. Currently, the accompanying gift may be a selection of handmade cards, a trinket bowl to hold special jewellery or a watch, or a seedpod room scent to impregnate with a favourite scent.

The colours chosen for Fire will make you think of strong fiery temperaments, people with a zest for life.

air

Air is made in soft, gentle colours of merino wool, with silk, bamboo or viscose fibres and natural cane embellishment stitched with cotton.

water

Water colours might evoke thoughts of quiet tranquil lakes, or rivers and streams, waterfalls or even the sea.

earth

For Earth the strong natural merino wool colours of the ground and vegetation have been chosen enhanced with coloured silk fibres.
